We are excited to have so many Fire & Ice families participating in our HundredX fundraiser this season! Because we have a large number of athletes participating, I want to make sure everyone understands the rules before the campaign begins.
PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE EMAIL BEFORE YOU START.
HundredX takes the integrity of the feedback submitted through its program very seriously. Their system monitors participation and feedback quality, and accounts for submissions that do not follow the rules can be disqualified.
🚨 THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE
You may ask people to participate in HundredX, but you CANNOT collect their email address and complete the surveys for them.
The person who creates the HundredX account must be the person completing the feedback.
For example:
✅ Allowed:
"Would you be willing to participate in HundredX and help support my cheer expenses? I can send you the signup information."
❌ NOT Allowed:
"Give me your email address and I will create your account and complete the surveys for you."
❌ NOT Allowed:
Collecting a list of friends/family members' email addresses and completing their HundredX feedback yourself.
❌ NOT Allowed:
Individuals under the age of 18 completing surveys.
HundredX's Terms require participants to personally provide their own feedback and prohibit the use of another person's account or creating multiple/dummy accounts.
⚠️ WHY THIS IS SO IMPORTANT
Last season, we had participants who did not follow the HundredX rules. Those situations did not simply affect the individual participant. The resulting issues affected the entire team and resulted in the team being disqualified from the fundraiser.
That means one person's decision to ignore the rules can potentially cost everyone on their team the opportunity to earn money toward their cheer expenses.
Please do not put your teammates' fundraising at risk.
What You CAN Do
You are absolutely encouraged to share HundredX with friends, family, coworkers, neighbors, and others who may be willing to participate.
You can send them the registration information, explain how the fundraiser works, and encourage them to participate. Once they sign up, they need to complete their own feedback.
The goal is to generate legitimate feedback from real people who are actually participating. HundredX states that qualifying feedback generates funding for the participating cause, while feedback that does not meet its quality requirements may be excluded.
PLEASE PROTECT YOUR TEAM
I know everyone wants to maximize the amount they can earn through this fundraiser, but more surveys is not worth risking your entire team's fundraising opportunity.
If you have a question about whether something is allowed, please reach out to me (Tricia Miller) through Band before doing it. I would much rather answer a question ahead of time than have someone accidentally violate a rule and put their team at risk.
Thank you for taking this seriously and helping us make this fundraiser successful for everyone!
